Considered the most sacred area in all the land, and perhaps also one of the most well hidden. In order to enter this place, one must brave the winding, twisting labyrinth of tunnels that Echo Cavern holds, using their spirit to guide them through the darkness. At the very deepest reaches, there opens a large cavernous room, brilliantly lit by a innumerous amount of moon stones and debris that are imbedded into the walls and ceiling and floor. At the center of the room are four ancient wolf statues, each identical in sculpture, and yet littered with different possessions. The group sits in a row, silently staring forward. The stone that they are made out of is chipped in some places, cracked in others, but amazingly intact considering their age. The wolf farthest to the left is draped in long-dead vines that weave over and about the entire statue, nearly covering it from sight. Beside it is perhaps the most worn of all four statues, a wolf covered in deep crevices that swirl like the path of the wind. To its right is a wolf covered in dark splotches, where fire had scorched its stone and left it scarred. Lastly, is a wolf discolored from years spent covered in algae, barnacles scattered over the expanse of its sloping back. Here, and perhaps only here, may wolves speak to the Gods themselves, and be blessed with their gifts.

Board Description
ECHO CAVERN
Neutral. A place of mystery and intrigue, the Echo Cavern is the centerpiece of many tales passed down through the generations. There is but one entrance, embedded into the side of Demon's Dirge on the outskirts of the Wasteland. Just a few yards into its depths, and the light cast away, else devoured by a darkness that seems to be never ending. Without sight, wolves face the trials of the tunnels using their other senses, and their souls to guide them. More often than not, wolves become lost or confused in the maze, some to never return to the light. The deeper one treads into the oblivion of the labyrinth of tunnels, the more moonstones will be found embedded in the cavern walls, helping to light the way with a soft white-blue glow. At the very heart, the deepest depths of the cavern, is the Shrine of the Gods, usually the only reason for braving through the Echo Cavern at all.
